Due to all that drinking, heavy drug use, mental and other health problems.
Nevertheless she was and still is a legend.

And nobody's singing can ever be compared with Amy's. Out of all covers of «Back to Black» only one — imho — is somehow close to her's.

Of course the Glee cast couldn't sing the second line of lyrics, so they have changed the word «dick» by the word «lips». Not a bad idea — sometimes Amy herself didn't dare to use the word, singing something like «h-h-m» instead.
